Returns & Refund Policy

Overview

At The Canine Butcher we take great care in producing small-batch, air-dried dog treats using carefully selected ingredients and traditional methods.

Because our products are food items, returns are limited for safety and quality reasons. However, if there is a genuine issue with your order, we will always work to resolve it quickly and fairly.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the product and packaging

Once confirmed, we will offer one of the following:

  • A replacement product

  • A store credit

  • A full refund


Quality Concerns

We stand behind the quality of our products.

If you believe there is a genuine quality issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the concern

  • A photo of the product

Our team will review the issue and may request the batch code from the packaging so we can investigate.

If a manufacturing issue is confirmed, we will provide:

  • Replacement product

  • Store credit

  • Or refund where appropriate


Change of Mind

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of opened dog treat products.

Unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

  • Unopened

  • In original packaging

  • In resellable condition

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the order was incorrect or faulty.


Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened treat pouches

  • Products damaged due to improper storage

  • Products returned outside the return period


Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow 3–5 working days for processing after approval.


Storage Guidance

Our treats are naturally preserved through careful air-drying and should be stored in a cool, dry place once received.

Improper storage may affect product quality and may not be eligible for refund.
